Saffron: Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask Review

Monday, April 06, 2015

Hi guys, bit of a different post this time. I have been on a mission to get my skin in the best shape it can be so I thought I would share with you some of the products that I have been enjoying. My skin type is oily to normal that sometimes breaks out. On the whole I find that my skin does not give me many problems but it can be dull; so I am a sucker for anything that has the word radiance in it or promises to give your skin a glow so look out for those types of products.

Right on to the mask, this an overnight mask that you leave on and it sinks into your skin much like a moisturiser. It's pretty much a fancy night cream, they just like marketing things in new and clever ways. So how do you use it Saffron I can hear you ask, well great question, you would apply after it after you have completed your normal routine minus night cream and serum. For me that means after I have cleansed and applied my exfoliating toner, then I would pop on the mask. I use about a pea sized amount and apply that all over my face.

So the verdict, I love this stuff whenever I use it I wake up the next morning with soft, glowy skin that looks like I've just had a facial. Origins says that this mask is meant for dry skin types, but as I said earlier I have oily to normal skin and find it is fine on my skin and not to heavy. But if you have really oily skin then maybe this is not for you, but for anyone else I recommend you give it a try. I use this two to three times a week. It is £23 for 100ml, not cheap but not crazy expensive. Hope you all like this review, comment below if you have tried this and what were your thoughts on it.

  1. This stuff is fantastic to use on long flights. I love it because it doesn't draw unwanted attention and does a fab job at keeping skin hydrated.
