Two Looks, One London

Hi guys I'm back. I just spent about the past 7 weeks travelling through Japan and Thailand. It was good trip where I learnt a lot about myself. Here are some pictures from my travels. If you would like post on exactly where and what I did and some advice and travelling just comment below and I will get on that. I didn't take as many photos as I thought I would. It is mainly beaches and markets but enjoy.

Japan

Aloha hope you are all well, this is a new post for me. I have been meaning to do a monthly favourites but it is a bit of a time sensitive post, and I kinda suck at sticking to a schedule and being on time with anything. So you can see why that would be a bit of a problem for me, but I am doing one now so lets crack on.

Tangle Teaser 
I love this hairbrush, I have natural hair and I recently cut off the last of my transitioning ends and this brush was what stopped me from perming my hair on those days when I struggled to get to comb through it. I can not sing its praises enough, it works best wet hair but don't knock it for dry hair either.

Puma Trainers
As I mentioned in a previous post these babies are yet to come off my feet I am in love. They are so comfy and go with pretty much everything I own plus they are such a lovely colour. I have been wanting a really simple trainer to pair with minimal outfits and these are perfect.

Nars Pro Prime
I never really realised how much I love this product, it sort of takes a place in the back compared to other eye products like eyeshadows. But it really works when I use this my eyeshadow stays put and does not budge, a good eyeshadow primer is a must in your makeup collection and this one is great.

Nars Sheer Glow
I really like this foundation it is a great colour match for me which isn't always the case when you are of colour. It has a medium coverage which you can build on for full coverage. It is great for nights out when you want a good flawless base but don't want to look like you have a mask on. I would say that it is not really that glowy so I'm not really sure why it is called that. If you are looking for a really dewy foundation then this maybe isn't for you but for everyone else I recommend.

Green Tea
I do not drink tea, until recently I did not even know how to make a cup of tea much to the annoyance of my family. I don't even really drink coffee I just do not drink hot drinks, but I have been really been enjoying green tea. I find it's a great way to start the day.

Hey folks! Back again so soon, I hear you gasp? Yep lol. Saffron and I were lucky enough to be invited to Lewis and Leigh's London Collection: Men's event featuring Beau Homme, Clara Martin and Chelsea Bravo. Unfortunately Saffron couldn't make it, so I went all on my lonesome :'( I'm an extremely shy person so that was not ideal, however at the door I was met one of Lewis and Leigh's interns, the one and only Clarissa Henry from VintageDollRisa, one of my absolute favourite bloggers! Check out her blog, she is dope. She was gracious enough to show me around and not slowly back away when I had my fan girl moment lol.





It was held at Icetank, a super dope venue in Covent Garden. The vibe was great; there was good music and refreshments. I had the most amazing chicken burrito, provided by Chipotle! It was so good, I had to find a corner so I could be alone with it. And the moment was so sacred, I couldn’t bear to take any pictures. Lool.  And it was like a street style blogger’s dream in there! Everyone was so immaculately dressed!

If you read our last post, you may have noticed that I (Courtney) hinted that we had Valentine's Day plans. Well... Saffron and I went to our first blogger event! Yay! We went to Cross Eyes' store on Goswell Road in Clerkenwell to welcome them to our shores! Cross Eyes is a Danish brand of opticians with a cool concept. As their website says "A corner stone of the concept is that you always know what you get for your money, there are no hidden extras or fees and our spectacles are always of the same high quality". We think this is fantastic because no matter what frames you get, you pay the same price and get the same great quality, making buying glasses much simpler. They have an amazing collection, including wooden frames (why didn't we think of that??), titanium frames (too cool for school) and sunglasses and for those of us that are (or aren't) fortunate enough to need glasses. Trust me, after checking out their collection, I wish I did.
